Annual Meeting

The 2010 Annual Meeting held on April 17th was a success. The Bull Restaurant catered the lunch to over 300 people.

A new director was elected to serve District 1. Beckie Darnell, from Jeffrey City is the new director. She replaces long-time director, Hub Thompson, who retired his director position in April.

Incumbent directors were re-elected to serve on the High Plains Power Board. Jeff Milton, serving District 3, Gary Gordon, representing District 6, and Jesse Hankins, from District 7 were all re-elected.

President, Bob Cardwell presided over the meeting. Jeff Hohn gave a state of the cooperative presentation and Mac McLennan gave a Tri-State report. Treasurer, Jim Miller also reported on the financials of your cooperative.

Hub Thompson was recognized for his contribution to not only the local cooperative, but to Tri-State as well.

Many lucky members walked away with door prizes ranging from tool sets to energy credits. Also, those members that were present, received a $10 credit to their electric bills.
